02.06 Inauguration of the exhibition “GO! Into the Forest” (1-30 June)

Inauguration of the exhibition 'GO! Into the Forest'

Sunday 2 June | 5 p.m.
Palazzo Veneziano, Malborghetto

Open from 1 to 30 June – Mondays closed

Thanks to funding obtained from the Mountain Community, an exhibition will be set up in collaboration with Risonanze to bring the Tarvisio Forest inside Palazzo Veneziano. The rooms on the first floor will be furnished with giant photographic photographs printed on fabric: landscapes, trees and nature will completely envelop the rooms, from the top of its walls to the floor, surrounded by natural materials and barks placed at their base. The selected photos, by the Tarvisian photographer Carlo Spaliviero – who boasts international collaborations such as National Geographic – and his son Elia, who specialises in drone images, will form the setting for the exhibition, which will then be characterised by sensorial itineraries. Paying attention to the world of the disabled, the forest can also be touched and smelled in its elements, and listened to in quadraphony through a sampling of the sounds of the Val Saisera forest (wind, rain, animals, water) in the different seasons. Some spaces will be set up with logs in which to gather and feel part of nature. Vegetable islands with local trees and essences, a sort of vertical garden, will complete a reconstructed forest inside the Museum, not only visually but also olfactorily. The central hall will then be set up with 25 natural wooden seats to take part in the ‘concerts of the senses’: small events in which, in addition to the sensory stimuli provided by the exhibition, it will be possible to listen to a different musical intervention each time. This will be accompanied by an aperitif or teatime with local zero-km products in collaboration with restaurateurs, chefs and local companies.
