Musica da Ripostiglio offers a musical journey through time and space: retro atmospheres, from early 20th-century swing to gypsy music, passing through Cuban rhythms and Greek sirtaki, to singer-songwriter music. A musical reality born from the twenty-year artistic partnership between singer Luca Pirozzi and guitarist Luca Giacomelli, who were later joined by Raffaele Toninelli on double bass and Emanuele Pellegrini on drums.
They have numerous recordings to their credit, from their debut with ‘Artisti’, a semi-serious story about the musician’s craft, to the recent “Zanzarà”; they are also very active live, including as the band for important theatre productions (‘A ruota libera’ by Giovanni Veronesi, Servo per due by Pierfrancesco Favino, Signori in carrozza by Paolo Sassanelli, Napule è… n’ata storia by Mariangela D’Abbraccio, Ristrutturazione by Sergio Rubini), as well as noteworthy collaborations with Rocco Papaleo, Alessandro Haber, Bobo Rondelli and Andrea Mirò. They perform original compositions and reinterpretations of Italian singer-songwriter classics (Celentano, Conte, Gaber, Buscaglione, Carosone, Quartetto Cetra), enriching each song with references to rock and classical music, creating original and surprising medleys. Ironic and light-hearted, brilliant and experimental, they perform an exciting, original and enjoyable show, a unique act halfway between a concert and musical cabaret, capable of engaging audiences of all ages.
Please note: free event, paid parking in Val Saisera.
In case of bad weather, the concert will be held at the Palazzo Veneziano in Malborghetto with free admission until all seats are taken.
